E. The employees will <br />(1) Work with the City to assist City residents and eligible customers to receive, <br />identify, segregate, store and prepare for shipment, all household hazardous waste <br />for recycling, treatment and /or disposal. <br />(2) Set up, break down and clean the Facility and equipment before the close of each <br />shift. The employees will maintain the Facility in a neat and orderly manner and <br />in compliance with all Federal, State and local laws and regulations for the entire <br />time these services are performed on behalf of the City. <br />(3) Develop a supply needs list and perform an inventory of supplies as necessary and <br />promptly notify the Coordinator of any shortage in supplies, materials or <br />equipment so that the City may order the items as needed. <br />(4) Assist the City with waste diversion activities (battery recycling, scrap metal <br />recycling, etc.) as directed. <br />(5) Be forklift operator certified at the expense of the Contractor) and maintain this <br />certification for the entire time the employees perform services on behalf of the <br />City. <br />B) Amend Section 3.1, Rates and Billing, Subsection 3.1.1 to add Paragraph C. to <br />compensate the Contractor for the provision of its personnel to operate the Facility as follows:. <br />C. Contractor's Personnel: The City will pay the Contractor for the provision of two <br />employees to operate the City's HHW Facility as stipulated in Subsection 1.3.2 for <br />two years from the date of this amendment at $17.50 per hour /per employee in the <br />total estimated amount of $55,440.00. <br />C) Amend Subsection 1.4.2, Paragraph B to delete reference to the "Kite Festival" and <br />replace it with a reference to "Movies in the Park" as a special event the Contractor will service <br />in accordance with Subsection 1.4.2. <br />All remaining terms and conditions of the original agreement shall remain in full l - orce <br />and effect for the duration of this agreement. <br />By the signing of this amendment, the parties understand and agree that this amendment shall <br />become a part of the agreement identified above. <br />This amendment is effective the day of M �v 2010. <br />City of San Marcos Green Guy Recycling, Inc. <br />By: By: <br />Ric Menchaca, City Manager Kyle Ha , Pre ident <br />PDFConvert 1681.1.
