<br />I <br /> <br />J <br /> <br />J <br /> <br />194 <br /> <br />RESOWTION NO. 1976-6-R <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING TWO AGREEMENTS BETWEEN <br />THE STATE OF TEXAS, THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, AND <br />THE MISSOURI PACIFIC RAILROAD COMPANY AND THE <br />MISSOURI-KANSAS-TEXAS RAILROAD COMPANY FOR THE <br />RECONSTRUCTION AND REPLANKING OF RAILROAD CROSSINGS <br />ON L.B.J. DRIVE AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO <br />EXECUTE THE SAME ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the State of Texas has submitted two agreements to the City and <br /> <br />to both the Missouri Pacific Railroad Company and the Missouri-Kansas-Texas <br /> <br />Railroad Company for the replanking of the railroads' L.B.J. crossings in <br /> <br />said city; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council desires to authorize said replanking; now <br /> <br />therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: <br /> <br />PART 1. That those certain agreements attached hereto and incorporated <br /> <br />herein by the State of Texas, the City of San Marcos, the Missouri Pacific <br /> <br />Railroad Company and the Missouri-Kansas-Texas Railroad Company providing <br /> <br />for the reconstruction and replanking of the railroad crossings on L.B.J. <br /> <br />Drive be, and are hereby, approved. <br /> <br />PART 2. That the City Manager, James B. Baugh, or his successor, be, and <br /> <br />is hereby, authorized to execute same on behalf of the City of San Marcos. <br /> <br />PART 3.
