lm -3 l/ y/ rb <br />receipt and sufficiency of the payment of all of said rent. <br />The City of San Marcos sub-lets the said golf course to San Marcos <br />Golf Association for the actual operation of same as a golf course and the <br />said Association through its directors and officers has represented and <br />promised in writing that it will at the earliest possible time reimburse the <br />City of San Marcos for one-half (1/2) of such rent or the sum of $2, 884. 97. <br />V. <br />The foregoing last sentence represents a distinct deviation and/or <br />departure from all prior leases or sub-leases of such property to the City <br />of San Marcos for San Marcos Golf Association, except for the lease for <br />the year, 1968, the lease for the year, 1969, the lease for the year, 1970, <br />the lease for the year, 1971, the lease for the year, 1972, the lease for the <br />year, 1973, the lease for the year, 1974, and the lease for the year, 1975, <br />for in all such prior arrangements for the year, 1967, and all prior years <br />the said Association had been obligated to plow back into the real property <br />by way of improvements thereto or into personal property by way of Golf <br />course equipment, all excess of its income over actual operational expense. <br />It is agreed by and between all parties, including said San Marcos Golf <br />Association, that said Association shall continue during the term of this <br />lease to put back into said real and personal property all excess of income <br />over and above operational expenses and the said sum of $2, 884. 97, and <br />Aquarena consents to the income of such Association to the extent of <br />$2, 884. 97 being used to reimburse the City, as here inabove provided. <br />VI. <br />Throughout the period of time the said golf course has been used
