5 RESOLUTION NO. 1976-20-R A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, EXPRESSING THE INI'ENT OF THE CITY COUNCIL TO NAME TIlAT CERTAIN STREET TO BE CONSTRUCTED AT THE NORTHEAST FNDS OF TAMPICO, LAREOO; SALTILLO, AND DURANOO STREETS IN 1HE WALLACE ADDITION' OF' THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, LUCIANO H. FLORES DRIVE UPON 1HE Ca.1PLE- TION OF CONSTRUCTION' OF SAID STREET. r I WHEREAS, the City of San Marcos, Texas, has previously approved construction of a new' street at the northeast ends of Tampico, ,Laredo, Saltillo, and Durango Streets in the Wallace Addition of the City of San Marcos, Texas; and, WHEREAS, Mr. Luciano H. Flores has provided long and distinguished servke to the City of San Marcos, Texas, in a capacity of Councilman for a period of nine years; and, WHEREAS, the City Council of, the City of San Marcos, Texas, wishes to acknow- ledge the contributions of Luciano' H. Flores to the City of San Marcos, Texas; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: PART 1. That the City Council of the City of San Marcos, Texas, does hereby express its intent to name that certain street to be' constructed at the northeast ends of Tampico, Laredo, Saltillo, and Durango'Streets in the Wallac;e Addition of the City of San Marcos, Luciano'H. Flores Drive in acknowledgement of the service of said Luciano H. Flores to the City of San' Marcos, Texas. PART Z. That this Resolution- shall become effective immediately from and after its passage.
