<br />60 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1976-38-R <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, ESTABLISHING AN ASSESSMENT <br />RATIONFOR PURPOSES OF ARRIVING AT THE. ASSESSED <br />TAX VALUES FOR AD VALOREM TAXATIEN FOR THE FISCAL <br />YEAR 1976-1977. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Board of Equalization is in the process of examining <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />and revising, if necessary, the assessments of rea1,ppersona1, and <br />mixed property returned by the City Tax Assessor-Collector, to insure <br /> <br />that all property within the City is assessed as fairly and uniformly <br /> <br />as possible; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, assessed tax values, based upon an assessment ratio to <br />market value, need to be established in order to expedite the mailing <br /> <br />of notices of 1976 tax valuations to owners of property within the <br /> <br />City of San Marcos, Texas; now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE .IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SKN MARCOS, TE~\S: <br /> <br />PART 1. That the assessed tax values for the 1976-77 fiscal year be <br />based upon a seventy per centum (70%) assessment ratio to market <br />I value. <br /> <br />PART 2.
