89 I RESOLUTION NO. 1976-45-R A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING AND ACCEPl'ING THE COMPLETION OF THE WASTEWATER LINE EXTENSION ALONG INTERSTATE HIGHWAY 35 SOUTH TO HAYS COUNTY CIVIC CENTER. -I WHEREAS, all requirements of the project specifications for the extension of the wastewater line along Interstate Highway 35 South to the Hyas County Civic Center have been met by the congractor, C.M. Construction Company; and WHEREAS, C.M. Construction Company performed additional concrete work, pursuant to the specifications which was not included in the original estimated quantities, but which was required for the proper installation and continued operation of the wastewater line; and, WHEREAS, the extension of this wastewater line has been inspected and approved by representatives of the City of San Marcos; and WHEREAS, C.M. Construction Company has completed final cleanup on this proje,ot to the satisfaction of the Texas Highway Department; and WHEREAS, C.M. Construction Company requests final payment for the satisfactory completion of these improvements; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That the work performed by C.M. Construction Company for the extension of the wastewater line on Interstate Highway 35 South to the H~ys County Civic Center, be, and is hereby, approved and accepted as being complete pursuant to the terms af the contract and project specifications for such improvements. I SECTION 2. That the City of San Marcos is authorized to make the final payment to C.M. Construction Company for the wastewater line extension. SECTION 3. That this Resolution shall take effect immediately from and after its passage.
