<br />10l <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1976-47-R <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS AUTHORIZING THE CITY <br />MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE STATEMENT OF GRANT <br />AWARD TO THE OFFICE OF THE GOVERNOR, CRIMINAL <br />JUSTICE DIVISION, FOR A GRANT TO THE SAN MARCOS <br />PUBLIC SAFEl'Y DEPARTMENT FOR TECHNICAL EQUIPMENT. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Governor Dolph Briscoe, based on the recommendation of the Criminal <br /> <br />Justice Division Advisory Board, has awarded to the City of San Marcos a <br /> <br />grant of $24,406 for technical equipment to be used by the San Marcos Public <br /> <br />Safety Department; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said grant award, grant award number AC- 75-3986, must be accepted <br /> <br />within thirty (30) days of the grant award date of August 24, 1976, by <br /> <br />executing the acceptance agreement; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of San Marcos has decided to accept said grant; now, <br /> <br />therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Part 1. That said grant be accepted. <br /> <br />Part 2. That the City Manager, Mr. James B. Baugh, or his successor, be, <br /> <br />and is hereby, authorized to execute the attached award acceptance agreement <br /> <br />on behalf of the City of San Marcos, Texas. <br /> <br />Part 3.
