<br />102 -", <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1976-48-R <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AWARDING A CONTRACT TO STANLEY <br />C. STEMEN CONSTRUCTION COMPANY, INC., FOR THE <br />MAINTENANCE OF SAN MARCOS CEMETERY, AND AUTHORIZING <br />THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE SAME ON BEHALF OF <br />THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of San Marcos, Texas has previously decided to place the <br /> <br />I maintenance of the Cemetery on contract; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City has duly advertised for bidders pursuant to the terms and <br /> <br />conditions of the contract; now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: <br /> <br />Part 1. That the bid of $18,835.00 submitted by Stanley C. Stemen Construction <br /> <br />Company, Inc., be accepted and the contract is hereby awarded to the said <br /> <br />Stanley C. Stemen Construction Company, Inc., pursuant to the terms and <br /> <br />conditions of the attached contract. <br /> <br />Part 2. That the City Manager, Mr. James B. Baugh, or his successor, be, <br /> <br />and is hereby, authorized to execute the attached contract on behalf of the <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />City of San Marcos, Texas. <br /> <br />Part 3.
