<br />lSO-a <br /> <br />F. Drainage. All parking areas and spaces shall be constructed in <br />compliance with standards provided in the attached Exhibit "n" as <br />approved and adopted by the City Council; said standards to be kept <br />on record in the office of the City Secretary and the Director of <br />Public Works for inspection by the public during reasonable office hours. <br /> <br />G. No parking area shall be designed or constructed which ends in a <br />dead end, if more than three (3) parking spaces in depth, unless <br />adequate turnaround space if provided. <br /> <br />H. All entrances or exits in a parking area shall be a minimum of <br />thirty (30) feet from the beginning point of any corner radius. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I. All entrances or exits in a parking area shall be a minimum of <br />twenty-four feet (24') and a maximum of thirty feet (30') in width, <br />unless one-way, in which case they shall be a minimum of twelve feet <br />(12') for entrances and minimum of nine feet (9') for exits. <br /> <br />J. The driveway approach angle to any parking area shall be a maximum <br />of 160, the departure angle a maximum of 100, and the ramp angle a <br />maximum of 110. <br /> <br />K. All parking areas or parking spaces shall be set back a minimum of <br />five feet (5') from any public right-of-way. <br /> <br />L. Any lighting used to illuminate any off-street parking area shall be <br />so designed and constructed as to reflect the light away from any adjoining <br />property or street. <br /> <br />M. Any use of property existing at the time of adoption of these <br />regulations and standards that does not conform with said regulations and <br />standards prescribed immediately above shall be deemed a nonconforming <br />use and subject to the terms and conditions of Section 18 herein. Except <br />that, when any applicable nonconforming structure is structurally altered, <br />adequate parking spaces which meet the requirements of the regulations <br />and standards adopted herein shall be required for the entire structures <br />and use. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />N. No occupancy permit shall be issued by the Chief Building Inspector <br />of the City until the terms and conditions of this Ordinance have been <br />met, as certified by the Office of the Director of Public Works. <br /> <br />SECTION 3. That, pursuant to the adoption of such standards and regulations, <br />Exhibit "A-D" attached to said Ordinance and incorporated therein be, and is <br />hereby, approved, enactem, and adopted. <br /> <br />SECTION 4. That urgent necessity requires that this Ordinance be passed as an <br />emergency measure for the immediate preservation of the public peace, property, <br />health, welfare, and safety of said City and its inhabitants; therefore, the <br />provisions of the Charter of the City of San Marcos, Texas, whiCh ordinarily require <br />ordinances to be read on three (3) several days and that no ordinance shall become <br />effective until the expiration of ten (10) days following the dates of its final <br />passage be dispensed with.
