<br />AN ORDINANCE
<br />
<br />APPROVING THE PRICES AND CONDITIONS OF
<br />THE SALE BY THE URBAN RENEWAL AGENCY OF
<br />THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, OF PARCEL
<br />NOS. 16D-6 AND 16D-12 (SEE LEGAL READING),
<br />LOCATED WITHIN THE JUAN VERAMENDI PROJECT,
<br />NDP TEX. A-6, TO ABUNDIO PINALES AND IRENE
<br />GUERRA, SOLE PROPRIETORS, AND DECLARING AN
<br />EMERGENCY
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the Urban Renewal Agency of the City of San Marcos,
<br />Texas, advertised for bids for the sale of certain property avail-
<br />able for disposition within its Juan Veramendi Urban Renewal Pro-
<br />ject NDP, Tex. A-6, in the San Marcos Record, a local newspaper
<br />with a general circulation within the City of San Marcos, Hays
<br />County, Texas; and,
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said advertisement there was a bid
<br />submitted by Abundio Pinales and Irene Guerra for all of Parcel
<br />Nos. 16D-6 and 16D-12 within said project; and,
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the said bids met the minimum disposition prices
<br />set upon said properties by the Agency; and,
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, said bids were accepted by the Board of Commissioners
<br />of the Urban Renewal Agency of the City of San Marcos, Texas, after
<br />the bid opening of April 7, 1975, and by a resolution duly passed
<br />on April 7, 1975; and,
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, said resolution authorizes sale to Abundio Pinales
<br />and Irene Guerra and recommended the acceptance and approval of
<br />the terms and conditions of the sale to the City Council; and,
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the aforementioned bids and proposed use set forth
<br />in said bids and its terms and conditions conform to the Redevelop-
<br />ment Plan for the Juan Veramendi Project, NDP, Tex. A-5, and con-
<br />form to the plan for the development of the City as a whole.

<br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
<br />CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, THAT:
<br />
<br />1. The prices and conditions of the sales of the Urban Renewal
<br />Agency of the City of San Marcos, Texas, of Parcel Nos.
<br />16D-6 and 16D-12 within the Juan Veramendi Project, NDP,
<br />Tex. A-6, to Abundio Finales and Irene Guerra respectively,
<br />are hereby approved in accordance with Section 11, of
<br />Article 12691-3, Vernon's Annotated Civil Statues of
<br />Texas.

<br />2. The properties to be sold as authorized in paragraph 1
<br />above are more particularly described by field notes
<br />attached hereto and marked as Exhibit "A" and Exhibit
<br />"B" of this Ordinance.

<br />The consideration for said sale being a total amount of
<br />$3,825.00 is also hereby approved.
<br />
<br />4. The sale by the Urban Renewal Agency is made subject to
<br />the restriction of the Redevelopment Plan for the Juan
<br />Veramendi Project, NDP, Tex. A-6, as approved and amended
<br />and on file in the office of the City Clerk.
