53 ORDINANCE NO. 1975 - 28 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, NAMING THAT PORTION OF LOOP 82 LOCATED IN THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS BETWEEN I.H. 35 AND THE ENTRANCE TO AQUARENA APRINGS ~AQUARENA SPRINGS DRIVE". II I WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of San Marcos, Texas, desires to name that portion of Loop 82 between I.H. 35 and the entrance to Aquarena Springs so that from this time forward it shall be known as Aquarena Springs Drive; and, WHEREAS, the City Council has called a Public Hearing to consider the same and has notified property owners along said public street of its intention; now, therefore, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That that certain public street presently known as Loop 82 between I.H. 35 and the entrance to Aquarena Springs be, and is hereby, named so that from this time forward, it will be identified as Aquarena Springs Drive. I SECTION 2. That the City Engineer be, and is hereby, ordered to make changes reflecting the change of name on all official maps and documents in his possession; and that the City Secretary of the City of San Marcos be, and is hereby, ordered to change all records in herc,possession so that said records reflect said change in name. SECTION 3. That this ordinance shall take effect ten (10) days from and after its final passage. PASSED AND APPROVED on first reading May 12, 1975.
