59 RESOLUTION NO. 1975-30-R A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROPRIATING $60,000 FROM REVENUE SHARING ENTITLEMENT PERIOD SIX TO SUPPLEMENT EXISTING FUNDS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF A SEWER LINE TO THE HAYS COUNTY CIVIC CENTER AND CREATING A POLlCY FOR FUTURE EXTENSION OF SAID LINE. III WHEREAS, the City Council on April 22, 1974, voted to assume responsibility for water and sewer service to the Hays County Civic Center; and WHEREAS, the existing City Council recognizes this committment and desires to fulfill its responsibility under this committment; and WHEREAS, the fulfillment of this responsibility requires that adequate lines ~ be installed to service future needs of the area; and WHEREAS, the City Council desires to initiate Phase II of the Civic Center , construction; now, ther~fore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: I Part 1. The City Council does hereby appropriate $60,000 out of Revenue Sharing Entitlement Period Six to supplement remaining bond funds to install adequate sewer service to the Civic Center, Phase II. Part 2. That the cost of future extensions of this line will be assumed by individuals requesting said extension. Part 3. That, should Phase II of the Civic Center construction not come to fruition and the land proposed for this expansion be retained by donors, it is the intention of this Council that a pro-rata cost of this line be paid by adjoining property owners before connection to this line. Part 4. That this Resolution shall be in effect immediately from and after its passage.
