<br />61 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1975-31-R <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, PROPOSING THE <br />EXTENSION OF SERVICES AND BENEFITS TO <br />FRIEDRICH REFRIGERATION, INCORPORATED, <br />TO INDUSTRIAL SITES IN SAN MARCOS, TEXAS. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of San Marcos, Texas, <br />is committed to the positive development of industry in San <br />Marcos; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of San Marcos, Texas, <br />supports the efforts of the San Marcos Industrial Development <br />Committee of the San Marcos Chamber of Commerce and the San <br />Marcos Industrial Foundation; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has been informed that Friedrich <br />Refrigeration, Incorporated, has expressed an interest in acquir- <br />ing a site in San Marcos for future expansion; now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CIty COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br /> <br />PART 1: That the City Council of the City of San Marcos, <br />Texas, hereby expresses its intent to Friedrich Refrigeration, <br />Incorporated, to provide 8u water and sewer services to that <br />certain 100 acre tract owned by the San Marcos Industrial Foun- <br />dation upon the issuance for a building permit to construct on <br />said tract. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />PART 2: That the City Council of the City of San Marcos, <br />Texas, hereby expresses its intent to disannex said tract for <br />a period of seven (7) years after the water and sewer services <br />have been extended to said tract and will enter into agreement <br />evidencing that intent, and furthermore, the City intends to <br />make full city services available during the period of disan- <br />nexation. <br /> <br />PART 3: That this Resolution shall take effect immediately <br />from and after its passage. <br /> <br />ADOPTED this 27th day of June, A.D., 1975. <br /> <br />;t:' <br />,/ . :J <br />~'''0-<~~ ~-<Ldr"L.- <br /> <br />Emmie Craddock <br />Mayor <br /> <br />i1;:~ <br /> <br />Doriss Hambrick <br />City Secretary <br /> <br />I -ZEL <br /> <br />Tom Akins <br />City Attorney <br /> <br />L_ <br />
