61 RESOLUTION NO. 1975-31-R A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, PROPOSING THE EXTENSION OF SERVICES AND BENEFITS TO FRIEDRICH REFRIGERATION, INCORPORATED, TO INDUSTRIAL SITES IN SAN MARCOS, TEXAS. I WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of San Marcos, Texas, is committed to the positive development of industry in San Marcos; and, WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of San Marcos, Texas, supports the efforts of the San Marcos Industrial Development Committee of the San Marcos Chamber of Commerce and the San Marcos Industrial Foundation; and, WHEREAS, the City Council has been informed that Friedrich Refrigeration, Incorporated, has expressed an interest in acquir- ing a site in San Marcos for future expansion; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CIty COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: PART 1: That the City Council of the City of San Marcos, Texas, hereby expresses its intent to Friedrich Refrigeration, Incorporated, to provide 8u water and sewer services to that certain 100 acre tract owned by the San Marcos Industrial Foun- dation upon the issuance for a building permit to construct on said tract. I PART 2: That the City Council of the City of San Marcos, Texas, hereby expresses its intent to disannex said tract for a period of seven (7) years after the water and sewer services have been extended to said tract and will enter into agreement evidencing that intent, and furthermore, the City intends to make full city services available during the period of disan- nexation. PART 3: That this Resolution shall take effect immediately from and after its passage.
