<br />63 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1975-32-R <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING THE SUBMISSION OF AN <br />APPLICATION OF THE HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF <br />SAN MARCOS TO THE DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND URBAN <br />DEVELOPMENT FOR SECTION 8, HOUSING ASSISTANCE, TO <br />SAID AUTHORITY. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Housing Authority of the City of San Marcos, Texas, is making <br /> <br />application under the Section 8 Housing Assistance Payment's Program; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is the opinion of the City Council that said application is <br /> <br />consistent with the local Housing Assistance Plan as approved by the Department <br /> <br />of Housing and Urban Development; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the application submitted <br /> <br />by said local authority should 'be approved; now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: <br /> <br />Part 1. That the application submitted by the Housing Authority of the City <br /> <br />of San Marcos, Texas, to the Department of Housing and Urban Development <br /> <br />, <br /> <br />making application for housing assistance under the Section 8 Housing Assistance <br /> <br />Payment's Program be, and is hereby, in all things approved. <br /> <br />Part 2. That the Mayor of the City of San Marcos, Texas, Dr. Emmie Craddock, <br /> <br />or her successor, be, and is hereby, authorized to submit a letter of approval <br /> <br />for said application as requested by the Department of Housing and Urban <br /> <br />Development. <br /> <br />Part 3.
