<br />77 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1975-35-R <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, WAIVING THE LAND FILL FEE <br />CHARGED TO BROWNING FERRIS INDUSTRIES FOR THEIR <br />USE OF THE SAN MARCOS SANITARY LAND FILL IN <br />CONNECTION WITH REFUSE COLLECTED AT GARY JOB <br />CORPS CENTER. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of San Marcos has continuously pursued <br /> <br />a spirit of cooperation with Gary Job Corps Center; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this spirit of cooperation has extended to the use and maintenance of <br /> <br />the San Marcos Sanitary Land Fill; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Gary Job Corps' sanitation refuse is collected by Browning Ferris <br /> <br />Industries and a charge for the use of said land fill is presently being levied; <br /> <br />now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: <br /> <br />PART 1. That the sanitary land fill fee presently being charged to Browning <br /> <br />Ferris Industries for their use of the San Marcos Sanitary Land Fill in connection <br /> <br />with sanitation refuse collected at Gary Job Corps Center, and the Gary Job <br /> <br />I Corps Center account only, be, and is hereby, waived by the City Council of the <br /> <br />City of San Marcos, Texas. <br /> <br />PART 2.
