<br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING
<br />SECTION 29-161 (b) (4) 'OF'DIVISION 2, "PARKING METERS",
<br />ARTICLE VII, "STOPPING, STANDING, AND PARKING", CHAPTER 29,
<br />"TRAFFIC", BY EXTENDING AUTHORIZED PARKING METERS ALONG
<br />SAN ANTONIO STREET TO INCLUDE '!'HAT PORTION OF SAN ANTONIO
<br />STREET FROM FREDERICKSBURG STREET TO FELTNER'S ALLEY, AND
<br />BY ADDING TO SECTION 29-l6l(b) A SUB-PART (9) AUTHORIZING
<br />PARKING METERS ON THE WEST SIDE OF NORTH EDWARD GARY STREET
<br />FROM HOPKINS STREET TO HUTCHISON STREET.
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of San Marcos, Texas, is of the opinion
<br />that parking meters should be installed, maintained, and enforced along San Antonio
<br />Street from Fredericksburg Street to Feltner's Alley, and on the west side of
<br />North Edward Gary Street between Hopkins and Hutchison Street; and,
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of San Marcos, Texas, has heretofore
<br />authorized and utilized parking meters within the City; now, therefore,
<br />
<br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS:
<br />
<br />SECTION 1. That Section 29-l6l(b) (4) of Division 2, "Parking Meters", Article VII,
<br />"Stopping, Standing, and Parking", Chapter 29, "Traffic" be, and is hereby,
<br />amended .11Q;.<sa"t;o},read as follows:

<br />Section 29-l61(b) (4)
<br />That part of San Antonio Street which lies between North Edward Gary
<br />Street and Feltner'sA1ley.
<br />
<br />SECTION 2. That Section 29-16l(b) of Subdivision 2, "Parking Meters", Article VII,
<br />"Stopping, Standing, and Parking", Chapter 29, "Traffic" be, and is hereby, amended
<br />by adding a new sub-part (9) so as to read as follows:

<br />Section 29-l6l(b)
<br />(9) That west curb line of North Edward Gary Street which lies between
<br />Hopkins Street and Hutchison Street.
<br />
<br />SECTION 3. That this Ordinance shall take effect ten days from and after its
<br />passage.
<br />
