<br />no <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1975-42-R <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING RESTRIC~ <br />TIVE COVENANTS TO BE PLACED ON THE COCK HOUSE <br />PROPERTY AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE <br />THE SAME IN BEHALF OF THE CITY. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Texas Historical Commission has awarded a grant- <br />in-aid to the City of San Marcos for the restoration of the Cock <br />House and grounds and the Commission requires that certain cove- <br />nants running with the land be attached to such property for <br />future protection of such property; now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br /> <br />PART 1: That the restrictive covenants attached hereto and <br />incorporated herein be, and are hereby, approved by the City <br />Council of the City of San Marcos, Texas, for the purpose of <br />attaching said covenants to run with that certain land known as <br />the Cock House Property. <br /> <br />PART 2: That the Mayor of said City, Dr. Emmie Craddock, or <br />her successor, be, and is hereby, authorized to execute said <br />covenants in behalf of the City of San Marcos. <br /> <br />PART 3: That this Resolution shall take effect immediately <br />from and after its passage. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />~ (Q~~ <br /> <br />Emmie Craddock <br />Mayor <br /> <br />iCiLJ <br /> <br />Doriss Hambrick <br />City Secretary <br /> <br />~DL <br /> <br />Tom Akins <br />City Attorney <br /> <br />I <br />
