123-f

I

grounds, walks, roadways, boundaries and structures to the end that
the grounds shall remain and be reasonably cared for as cemetery
grounds forever. Perpetual Care shall not include the maintenance,
repair or replacement of any grave stones, monuments or memorials;
nor the planting of flowers or ornamental plants; nor the maintenance
or doing of any special or unusual work in the Cemetery; nor the
construction or reconstruction of any marble, granite, bronze or
concrete work on any lot where the same is damaged from any cause
whatsoever. Perpetual care shall, however, include the maintenance,
repair or replacement of the public mausoleum.

10. LOTS NOT NOW UNDER 'PERPETUAL CARE.
A.) Any lot not now under perpetual care may be placed under perpetual
care upon payment of the required fee. If any burial is made in a
burial space on which the perpetual care has not been paid, the per-
petual care for such space shall be paid at the time of, or prior to
burial.

I

B.) General care will be given lots which were originally sold with-
out perpetual care, in order that the general beauty of the cemetery
may be maintained. However, the City assumes no responsibility to
maintain these lots in perpetuity. Whenever any lot needs attention,
lots having perpetual care shall in every case have preference.

I

11. EXCEPTION TO PERPETUAL CARE REQUIREMENT.
The "Dixon Addition" is hereby set aside for persons not financially
able to provide for perpetual care or for children under two years
of age. Grave spaces shall be sold in regular order as shown on the
plat on file in the City Secretary's office. In the event a surviving
spouse wishes to reserve burial space adjacent the deceased spouse,
one additional space may be purchased. Under no other circumstance
shall a specific burial space be reserved in the Dixon Addition.
No curbing or enclosure of any kind shall be allowed in this Addition,
and markers must be flat bronze or flat granite. No trees, shrubs,
or flowers shall be planted in this Addition.

-6-

~ ~,-- ~
