<br />136 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1975-49-R <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS, AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO SUBMIT AN APPLICATION <br />TO THE TEXAS MUNICIPAL LEAGUE FOR A 100%' GRANT TO FINANCE A <br />SOCIAL SERVICE RESEARCH STUDY. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Texas Municipal League has received money from the Department of <br /> <br />Health, Educa~ion and Welfare for the purpose of establishing models and <br /> <br />methodology of evaluating social service programs; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Texas Municipal League has au~hority to fund research studies to <br /> <br />help in establishing such models and methodology; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has expressed an interest in developing a system of <br /> <br />analyzing and evaluating social service programs; now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: <br /> <br />Part 1. That the City Manager of the City of San Marcos, Texas, Mr. James B. <br /> <br />Baugh, or his successor, be, and is hereby, authorized to submit on behalf of <br /> <br />III the City of San Marcos an application to the Texas Municipal League for a 100% <br /> <br />grant to finance a Social Service Research Study for the City of San Marcos. <br /> <br />Part 2.
