<br />81-b <br /> <br />That in accordance with an order adopted by the City Council .of said City, <br />said election shall be held at the following places in said City, and the <br />following named. persons are hereby appointed officers for said election. <br /> <br />In Election Precinct No.6, at Guadalupe Hall, in said City, with Mrs. J.T. Avila <br />as Presiding Judge, and said Presiding Judge shall appoint the necessary clerks <br />to assist her which shall not exceed four (4) clerks. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />In Election Precinct No.8, at American Legion Hall, in ;said City, with <br />Craig Bailes as Presiding Judge, and said Presiding Judge shall appoint the <br />necessary clerks to assist him which shall not exceed four (4) clerks. <br /> <br />In Election Precinct No. 10, at Masonic Temple, in sa~d City, with Mrs. Jack <br />Wood as Presiding Judge, and said Presiding Judge shall appoint the necessary <br />clerks to assist her which shall not exceed four (4) clerks. <br /> <br />In Election Precinct No. 11, at Dunbar Community Center, in said City, with <br />Yancy Yarbrough as Presiding Judge, and said Presiding Judge shall appoint the <br />necessary clerks to assist him which shall not exceed four (4) clerks. <br /> <br />In Election Precinct No.. 12, at E1 Buen Pastor Methodist Church, in said City, <br />with Joe Gonzales as Presiding Judge, and said Presiding Judge shall appoint <br />the necessary clerks to assist him which shall not exceed four (4) clerks. <br /> <br />In Election Precinct No. 13, at Public Library, in said City, with Mrs. J.R. <br />Thornton as Presiding Judge, and said Presiding Judge shall appoint the necessary <br />clerks to assist her which shall not exceed four (4) clerks. <br /> <br />In Election Precinct No. 14, at St. John's Parish Hall, in said City, with <br />Margie Villalpando as Presiding Judge, and said Presiding Judge shall appoint <br />the necessary clerks to assist her which shall not exceed four (4) clerks. <br /> <br />II <br /> <br />In Election Precinct No. 15, at Holland Street Fire Station, in said City, with <br />Howard Yeargan as Presiding Judge, and said Presiding Judge shall appoint the <br />necessary clerks to assist him which shall not exceed four (4) clerks. <br /> <br />In Election Precinct No. 16, at Allen Woods Homes Auditorium, in said City, <br />with William Emory as Presiding Judge, and said Presiding .Judge shall appoint <br />the necessary clerks to assist him which shall not exceed four (4) clerks. <br /> <br />Doriss Hambrick is hereby appointed Clerk for absentee voting, and Jon W. Sparks <br />is hereby appointed Deputy Clerk for absentee voting. The absentee voting shall <br />be held at City Hall within said City and said place of absentee voting shall <br />remain open for at least eight hOurs on each day for absentee voting which is not <br />a Saturday, a Sunday, or an official State holiday, beginning on the 20th day <br />and continuing through the 4th day preceding the date of said election. Said <br />place of voting shall remain open between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. <br />on each day for said absentee voting. The above described place for absentee <br />voting is also the absentee clerk's mailing address to which ballot applications <br />and ballots voted by mail may be sent. <br /> <br />That said election shall be held in accordance with Texas law. <br /> <br />That the City Secretary shall give notice of said election by posting a copy of <br />this Order in each of the election precincts of said City, which posting shall <br />be done not less than 30 days prior to date fixed for said election. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />The City Secretary shall also cause a notice by publication of this election <br />to be published one time in a newspaper of general circulation in this City, <br />which publication shall be not more than 30 days nor less than 10 days before <br />said election. <br /> <br />That immediately after said election is held, the officers holding the same <br />shall make returns of the result thereof to the Mayor of this City as required <br />by the Election Code of this State. <br />
