135

CITY OF S/IN WI/IRCOS

OFFICE MEMORANDUM

TO: Acting Mayor John Stokes and~ Members
A. C. Gonzalez, City Manage~

FROM:

;UBJECT:

DATE:

Reappropriation of Community Development Funds

March 5, 1981

Correspondence to the City Council
RE: Small Cities

Attached please find a financial sheet indicating the various changes in
the Community Development program which have been approved by the City
Council in previous meetings. Each of the changes with the exception of
the proposed changes have already been acted upon by the City Council. Ii
have indicated the dates and have attached a copy of the minute~ where the
City Council has acted on each of the changes.

In addition to the already approved changes, the staff is proposing two
further changes. The first, in order to provide the sidewalks in Victory
Gardens Phase I, $30,000 will be needed for this project. We are proposing
that this $30,000 be allocated from remaining funds in the South Water Well
Construction account.

The second, in order to complete the Victory Gardens Sidewalks Phase II,
an additional $17,500 will be needed. We are proposing that this amount
be allocated from the unallocated land sale funds.

If the City Council ~grees with these changes, it will be necessary to in-
clude the modifications in an ordinance which would officially change the
2ommunity ~evelopment budget. This budget revision ordinance would be
offered at the next regular Council meeting.

ACG:mlc
Attachment

CSM--IO0
