<br />e <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />15-e <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />This Certificate is one of 40 Certificates numbered con- <br />secutively from I to 40, inclusive, aggregating $200,000, for <br />the purpose of paying all or a part of the contractual obliga- <br />tion and indebtedness to be incurred in the constructing of a <br />city hall for said City, and for legal services and other re- <br />lated expenses in connection therewith, and said Certificates <br />being issued under and by virtue of the Constitution and laws <br />of the state of Texas and an ordinance passed by the City Council <br />of said City and recorded in the minutes of said City Council. <br />The City reserves the right to redeem this Certificate on <br />any date after its date by paying principal and accrued interest <br />thereon, and in the event said Certificate is called for re- <br />demption prior to maturity, notice thereof in writing shall be <br />mailed by the City Secretary to the registered owner of said <br />Certificate at least thirty (30) days prior to the date fixed <br />for redemption and any Certificate not presented for redemption <br />shall cease to bear interest from and after the date so fixed <br />for its redemption. Such notification may be waived by the <br />registered owner of said Certificates and same shall not affect <br />the cessation of interest as herein provided. <br />The Registrar of the Certificates shall, when requested by <br />the registered owner of this Certificate or his duly authorized <br />attorney in fact, register same in the name of a subsequent owner <br />on the City's records of registration and note same on the Reg- <br />istration Legend on the Certificate. The City Secretary shall <br />be Registrar of the Certificates. <br />IT IS HEREBY CERTIFIED AND RECITED that all acts, conditions, <br />and things required to be done precedent to and in the issuance <br />of this Certificate have been properly done, have happened, and <br />been performed in legal and due time, form and manner as provided <br />by law, and that sufficient and proper provision for the levy and <br />collection of taxes has been made which when collected shall be <br />appropriated exclusively to the payment of this Certificate and <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />~ <br />
