38-a BEGINNING at a point which is S. 450 21' E. 230.00' from the Northwest corner of Lot #114, Third Division, Park Addition, San Marcos, Texas, said point being the old South corner of Lot #117 of the said Addition; THENCE, S. 450 21' E. 20.0' to the old center- line of Matthews Street; THENCE, S. 430 39' W. 20.7' along the old centerline of Matthews Street; I THENCE, N. 570 39' W. 20.5' to a point on the old right-of-way line of Matthews Street; THENCE, along the said old right-of-way line of Lot #116 of said Addition N. 430 39' E. 25.0' to the POINT OF BEGINNING. SECTION 2: That the City of San Marcos relinquishes hereby to the said James H. McCrocklin and Arleigh B. Templeton, all right, title, and interest of the City of San Marcos in and to the above described portions of Matthews Street, and further, that the Mayor of the City of San Marcos, be, and is hereby, authorized, empowered and directed to execute and deliver to the said James H. McCrocklin and Arleigh B. Templeton, quitclaim deeds to that portion of Matthews Street, such quitclaim deeds to be executed and delivered in the due and usual form by the Mayor and City Secretary, in their respective capacities, and with the seal of the City of San Marcos and attestation of the City Secretary of San Marcos affixed and shown thereon.
