<br />49 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1974-28-R <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br />THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AUTHO- <br />RIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A QUITCLAIM <br />DEED ON 17.29 ACRES SITUATED IN CALDWELL <br />COUNTY TO THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of San Marcos has previously expressed <br />its desire to trade land in the vicinity of Camp Gary, Caldwell <br />County, Texas; and, <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council desires to preceed with said <br />trade; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of San Marcos is required to initiate <br />the trade by conveying 17.29 aeres; now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS: <br /> <br />PART 1. That the Mayor of the City of San Marcos, Dr. <br />Emmie Craddock, or her successor be, and is hereby, authorized <br />and empowered to execute a Quitelaim Deed to the United States <br />of America concerning 17.29 acres situated at Camp Gary, <br />Caldwell County, Texas. <br /> <br />PART 2.
