<br />58 <br /> <br />ORDINlI}O; NO. 1974 - 52 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS, AMENDING CHAPTER 18 OF THE CODE <br />OF ORDINANCES OF SAID CITY ENTITLED <br />"PARKS AND RECREATION," BY ENACTING A <br />NEW SECTION NUMBERED 18-4 ENTITLED <br />"CONTROL OF ANIMALS IN PUBLIC PARKS." <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. That a new Section 18-4, Chapter 18 of the Code <br /> <br />of Ordinances of the City of San Marcos entitled "Control of Animals <br /> <br />in Public Parks" be, and is hereby, enacted so as to read as follows: <br /> <br />"PART 1. That it shall be unlawful for any person <br />exercising ownership, care, custody, or control of any <br />animal to allow such animal to run at large upon any <br />public property, playground, or park area located <br />within the City of San Marcos. <br /> <br />PART 2. That it shall be unlawful for any person exer- <br />cising ownership, care, custody, or control of a dog to <br />allow such dog which has not been licensed as required <br />by Chapter 3, Code of Ordinances of the City of San Marcos, <br />Texas, upon any public property, playground, or park area <br />located within the City of San Marcos." <br /> <br />SECTION 2.
