<br />62 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1974-29-R <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, <br />AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR OF SAID CITY <br />TO EXECUTE A LICENSE ON BEHALF OF <br />THE CITY WITH THE MISSOURI-KANSAS- <br />TEXAS RAILROAD COMPANY FOR THE <br />LAYING OF A THREE-QUARTER INCH <br />WATER PIPE ACROSS RAILROAD RIGHT- <br />OF-WAY. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of San Marcos has requested permission <br />from the MKT Railroad to cross railroad right-of-way with a <br />three-quarter inch water pipeline; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said Railroad Company requires a resolution <br />evidencing the Mayor's authority to execute a license to cross <br />said right-of-way; now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br /> <br />PART 1. That the Mayor be, and is hereby, authorized to <br />execute a license on behalf of the City of San Marcos permitting <br />the City of San Marcos to cross MKT tracks and right-of-way with <br />a three-quarter inch water pipeline in the vicinity of Mile Post <br />51.23, San Marcos, Texas. <br /> <br />PART 2.
