<br />AN ORDINANCE
<br />
<br />APPROVING THE PRICES AND CONDITIONS OF
<br />THE SALE BY THE URBAN RENEWAL AGENCY
<br />OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, OF
<br />PARCEL 159-15, 15D-16, l3D-3 AND 17D-9
<br />(SEE LEGAL READING), LOCATED WITHIN THE
<br />JUAN VERAMENDI, PROJECT NDP, TEX. A-6, TO
<br />AURELIANO SAUCEDO, SUSIE TORRES AND JUAN
<br />ROMERO, SOLE PROPRIETORS, AND DECLARING
<br />AN EMERGENCY
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the Urban Renewal Agency of the Citv of San Marcos,
<br />Texas, advertised for bids for the sale of certain property avail-
<br />able for disposition within its Juan Veramendi Urban Renewal Pro-
<br />ject NDP, Tex. A-6, in the San Marcos Record, a local newspaper
<br />with a general circulation within the City of San Marcos, Hays
<br />County, Texas; and,
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said advertisement there was a bid
<br />submitted by Aureliano Saucedo and Susie Torres and Juan Romero
<br />for all of Parcels l5D~15, l5D-16, l3D-1 and 17D-9 within said
<br />project; and,
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the said bids met the minimum disposition prices
<br />set upon said properties by the Agency; and,
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, said bids were accepted by the Board of Commissioners
<br />of the Urban Renewal Agency of the City of San Marcos, Texas,
<br />after the bid opening of November 4, 1974, and by a resolution
<br />dulv passed on November 4, 1974, and whereas said Resolution
<br />authorizes sale to Aureliano Saucedo, Susie Torres and Juan Romero,
<br />and recommended the acceptance and approval of the terms and conditions
<br />of the sale to the Citv Council; and,
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the aforementioned bids and proposed use set forth
<br />in said bids and its terms and conditions conform to the Redevelop-
<br />ment Plan for the Juan Veramendi Project, NDP, Tex. A-6, and con-
<br />form to the plan for the development of the Citv as a whole.

<br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
<br />CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, THAT:
<br />
<br />1. The Prices and conditions of the sales of the Urban Renewal
<br />Agency of the City of San Marcos, Texas, of Parcel #15D-15, l5D-16,
<br />13D-1 and 17D-9 within the Juan Veramendi Project, NDP, Tex. A-6, to
<br />Aureliano Saucedo, Susie Torres and Juan Romero are hereby approved
<br />in accordance with Section 11, of Article 12691-1, Vernon's Annotated
<br />Civil Statutes of Texas.

<br />2. The properties to be sold as authorized in paragraph 1
<br />above are more particularly described by field notes attached
<br />hereto and marked as Exhibit "A", Exhibit "B" and Exhibit "c" of
<br />this Ordinance.
<br />
<br />3. The consideration for said sale being a total amount of
<br />$9,750.00 is also herebv approved.
<br />
<br />4. The sale by the Urban Renewal Agency is made subject to
<br />the restriction of the Redevelopment Plan for the Juan Veramendi
<br />Project NDP, Tex. A-6, as approved and amended and on file in the
<br />office of the City Clerk.
