<br />90 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1974-32-R <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS, APPROVING THE WORK PERFORMED IN THE EXTENSION OF A <br />WATER LINE TO THE HAYS COUNTY CIVIC CENTER AND ACCEPTING <br />SAID EXTENSION,AS COMPLETE. <br /> <br />I I <br /> <br />WHEREAS, previously by contract dated July 24, 1974, the City Council of <br /> <br />the City of San Marcos has awarded a contract to Utilities Consolidated <br /> <br />Incorporated of San Antonio, Texas, and contracted for the extension of a <br /> <br />water line to the Hays County Civic Center; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the contract price for said work was bid at the amount of $63,049.00; <br /> <br />and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, final construction price was $62,374.50; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said work has been found to be in substantial compliance with the <br /> <br />requirements and specifications running to such job; now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />PART 1. That the work performed by Utilities Consolidated Inc9rporated on the <br /> <br />extension of water line from Broadway Street to the Hays County Civic Center be, <br /> <br />and is hereby, in all things approved. <br /> <br />PART 2. That the City Council of the City of San Marcos hereby accepts the <br /> <br />water line as completed as result of said acceptance authorizes final payment <br /> <br />to Utilities Consolidated Incorporated of San Antonio in the amount of $6,574.95 <br /> <br />for a total price of $62,374.50. <br /> <br />PART 3.
