<br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />46-a <br /> <br />Sec. 22-18. Dance Hall License - required <br /> <br />No person shall hold any public dance or public ball within <br />the Cityuritil the dance hall in which the same may be held <br />shall first have been duly licensed for such purpose. <br /> <br />Sec. 22-19. Same - application. <br /> <br />Applications for licenses required by this ordinance will <br />be made on forms furnished and prescribed by the City for <br />that purpose. <br /> <br />Sec. 22-20. Same - compliance with building, fire, etc., <br />regulations prerequisite to issuance. <br /> <br />No license for a public dance hall under this article shall <br />be issued until it should be found by inspection that such hall <br />complies with and conforms to the health and fire regulations <br />of the City, and that it is properly ventilated and supplied <br />with sufficient toilet conveniences and is a safe and proper <br />place for the purpose for which it is used, as determined <br />by regulations adopted by the City Council. <br /> <br />Sec. 22-21. License - examination of application by health <br />officer and chief of police. <br /> <br />The euilding Inspector, Health Officer and the Chief of <br />Police of the City shall examine all applications for dance <br />hall licenses and shall make recommendations with reference <br />thereto. <br /> <br />See 22-22. Same - issuance. <br /> <br />License for dance halls as required by this ordinance, and <br />authorized by the City Manager, shall be issued by the Tax <br />Assessor and Collector. <br /> <br />Sec. 22-23. Same - fee. <br /> <br />The fee for a license for this article shall be paid at <br />the time of the issuance of the license and shall be in the <br />amount of Twenty-five Dollars ($25.00) annually. <br /> <br />Sec. 22-24. Permit required for each public dance; application <br />and fee for such. <br /> <br />In addition to the public dance hall license required by <br />this article, no person shall hold a public dance or public <br />ball until a permit shall be issued therefor by the Tax <br />Assessor and Collector. Applications for such permits shall <br />be upon a form furnished by the City and shall be filed with <br />the Tax Assessor and Collector at least forty-eight (48) hours <br />before the dance or ball is to begin. Such permit shall be <br />issued by the Tax Assesor and Collector when all provisions of <br />this article and other ordinances in reference to which public <br />dances are complied with and upon payment of the public dance <br />permit fee of Five Dollars ($5.00). <br /> <br />Sec. 22-25. Weekly dance permit. <br /> <br />A weekly dance permit shall be obtained upon payment of a <br />permit fee of Ten Dollars ($10.00) authorizing the holding by <br />the person to whom such permit is issued of public dances upon <br />all or part of the week days of anyone calendar week. The <br />person applying for such weekly permit shall make application <br />therefore at least forty-eight (48) hours before the beginning <br />of such week. The person receiving such permit and the public <br />dances held thereunder shall be subject otherwise to all the <br />terms and provisions of this article and other ordinances <br />affecting public dances and public dance halls. <br />
