I I I 46-a Sec. 22-18. Dance Hall License - required No person shall hold any public dance or public ball within the Cityuritil the dance hall in which the same may be held shall first have been duly licensed for such purpose. Sec. 22-19. Same - application. Applications for licenses required by this ordinance will be made on forms furnished and prescribed by the City for that purpose. Sec. 22-20. Same - compliance with building, fire, etc., regulations prerequisite to issuance. No license for a public dance hall under this article shall be issued until it should be found by inspection that such hall complies with and conforms to the health and fire regulations of the City, and that it is properly ventilated and supplied with sufficient toilet conveniences and is a safe and proper place for the purpose for which it is used, as determined by regulations adopted by the City Council. Sec. 22-21. License - examination of application by health officer and chief of police. The euilding Inspector, Health Officer and the Chief of Police of the City shall examine all applications for dance hall licenses and shall make recommendations with reference thereto. See 22-22. Same - issuance. License for dance halls as required by this ordinance, and authorized by the City Manager, shall be issued by the Tax Assessor and Collector. Sec. 22-23. Same - fee. The fee for a license for this article shall be paid at the time of the issuance of the license and shall be in the amount of Twenty-five Dollars ($25.00) annually. Sec. 22-24. Permit required for each public dance; application and fee for such. In addition to the public dance hall license required by this article, no person shall hold a public dance or public ball until a permit shall be issued therefor by the Tax Assessor and Collector. Applications for such permits shall be upon a form furnished by the City and shall be filed with the Tax Assessor and Collector at least forty-eight (48) hours before the dance or ball is to begin. Such permit shall be issued by the Tax Assesor and Collector when all provisions of this article and other ordinances in reference to which public dances are complied with and upon payment of the public dance permit fee of Five Dollars ($5.00). Sec. 22-25. Weekly dance permit. A weekly dance permit shall be obtained upon payment of a permit fee of Ten Dollars ($10.00) authorizing the holding by the person to whom such permit is issued of public dances upon all or part of the week days of anyone calendar week. The person applying for such weekly permit shall make application therefore at least forty-eight (48) hours before the beginning of such week. The person receiving such permit and the public dances held thereunder shall be subject otherwise to all the terms and provisions of this article and other ordinances affecting public dances and public dance halls.
