/ I I I Cj2 ~ It THE STATE OF TEXAS I r r COUNTY OF HAYS CONTRACT Whereas, the Hays-Caldwell Comlllunity Action Agency, a non-profit corporation, charted by the Office of the Secretary of State, InterIml Revenue Service identification number 74-1541726, does hereby agree to enter into a contract with the political subdivision of the State of Texas knmm as the City of San Marcos. ~~ereas, the terms of said contract will include the following: 1. The City of San Marcos will fund the Hays-Caldwell Community Action Agency in the amount of $12,200.00 to operate a drug education program pursuant to the data as described in appendix one (1) of this contract. 2. The Hays-Caldwell Community Action Agency will assume respon- sibility for all facets of program implementation and operation as described in appendix one (1) of this contract. 3. The Hays-Caldwell Community Action Agency will assume respon- sibility for proper management and accounting of all funds delegated by the City of San Marcos. to the Hays-Caldwell Community Action Agency in this contract. 4. Periodic and timely progress reports. on program implementation will be provided by the Hays-Caldwell Community Action Agency at the request of the San Marcos City Manager or any member of the City Council of San Marcos, Texas. 5. The amount of monies specified in #1 above will be the only COl1l- mittment by the City of San Marcos to the progl'lllIl described in appendix one (1) of this. contract. 6. The duration of this contract will be for one (1) calender year from the date when both parties to.~lis agreement. have signed said contract, and the actual transfer of funds from the city of San Marcos in the amount of $12,200.00 to the Hays-Caldwell Community Action Agency has been completed.
