RESOLUTION 2010 -81 R <br />i s A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING THE SALE BY THE <br />HAYS CONSOLIDATED INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT, <br />TRUSTEE OF AN OAKWOOD MANUFACTURED HOME <br />SITUATED AT THE SADDLEBROOK MOBILE HOME PARK, <br />236 SILVER PEAK DRIVE, SPACE NO. 50; AND DECLARING <br />AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />RECITALS: <br />1. The Hays Consolidated Independent School District, as trustee for all local taxing <br />units, is the owner of a 28 foot by 44 foot Oakwood Manufactured Home situated at the Saddlebrook <br />Mobile Idome Park, 236 Silver Peak Drive, Space No. 50 (the "Property ") through a sheriff s sale of <br />the Property for unpaid taxes. <br />2. The San Marcos Consolidated Independent School District has received an offer of <br />$5,000 for the Property from TKP Consulting L.L.C. This offer is less than the minimum bid at <br />foreclosure. <br />3. The Hays Consolidated Independent School District Board of Trustees has approved <br />is the sale of the Property for this bid, and the Hays County Tax Assessor - Collector has forwarded the <br />bid to the City Council for consideration. <br />4. City approval of the bid is necessary for the sale since the bid is for less than the <br />minimum bid at foreclosure. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: <br />PART 1. The sale of the Property by Hays Consolidated Independent School District, <br />Trustee for all taxing units for $5,000 is approved. <br />PART 2. The Mayor, Susan Narvaiz, or City Manager, Rick Menchaca, is authorized to <br />execute the bill of sale for this sale on behalf of the City of San Marcos. <br />PART 3.
