<br />~ <br /> <br />1973-12-R <br /> <br />5J- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the State Highway Department has claimed and used <br /> <br />for highway purposes the land described in the attached <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Exhibit A, there being no record of conveyance of title to <br /> <br />the State Highway Department; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of San Marcos, Texas, has determined <br /> <br />that said land wi I I no longer be needed for use of citizens <br /> <br />as a road upon completion of certain new highway construction: <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of <br /> <br />San Marcos, Texas, concurs in the quitclaim of the State <br /> <br />Highway Department's rights and interests in the subject tract <br /> <br />of land to Southwest Texas State University in exchange and <br /> <br />as ful I consideration for the University's conveyance of certain <br /> <br />additional right-of-way to the State needed for the real igned <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />highway facility. <br /> <br />PASSED, AND APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL this 26th day of Apri I, 1973. <br /> <br />J//lldb~ / <br />",<:~/6-< G . zcc ./\<A"Le/~ <br />Eddy 1..
