<br />., <br /> <br />1973-17-R <br /> <br />lOt( <br /> <br />RESOLUTION <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Counci I of the City of San Marcos, Texas, has <br />heretofore by ordinance duly enacted on May 29, 1973, determined <br />the necessity for and ordered the improvement of Thorp Lane and <br />Linda Lane in the City of San Marcos, Texas, in the manner and <br />according to the plans and specifications therefore, which plans <br />and specifications have heretofore been approved and auopted by <br />said City Council. Said streets and the portions thereof to be <br />improved, designated by unit numbers, are as fo) lows. <br /> <br />UNIT ONE <br /> <br />(STREET) Northwest of and generally parallel to Interstate <br />Highway No. 3S and North of the C.CREWS ADDITION. (Paving <br />width sha11 be 44 feet back to back of curbs, including <br />new concrete curbs). .. <br /> <br />THORP LANE, extending in a Northeasterly direction from the <br />North Right-of-Way line Stat~ Ranch Road No. 12 to the South <br />Right-of-Way I ine of State Highway Loop No. 82. <br /> <br />UNIT TWO <br /> <br />(STREET) parallel to and Southeast of Interstate Highway <br />No. 35 in the J.P. ELLIS SUBDIVISION NO.2 and the ROGERS <br />SUBDIVISION NO.1. (Paving width shall be 36 feet back to <br />back of curbs, including new concrete curb). <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />LINDA DRIVE, extending in a Northeasterly direction from a <br />line drawn across Linda Drive between the East corner of <br />Lot N~. 13, Block No.2 and the North corner of Lot No.5, <br />Block No.4 of the J.P. ELLIS SUBDIVISION NO.2 for <br />approximately 1970 feet to an angle and then in a Southeasterly <br />direction to the West Right-of-Way line of Bugg Lane. <br /> <br />BUGG LANE, extending Northward from the South Right-of-Way <br />I iBe of Linda Drive to the South Right-of-Way L~ne of <br />Highway No. 80 (Lul ing Highway). <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a notice duly executed in the name of the City of <br />San Marcos, Texas, of the enactment of said above described <br />ordinance has heretofore been filed with the County Clerk of <br />Hays County, Texas, the county in which said City of San Marcos is <br />situated, on the 4th day of June, 1973. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Manager has advertised for bids for the improvements <br />cal led for in the above described ordinance. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the cost of said improvements shall be paid for as follows. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I. All property zoned "R-I" (single family residential) or <br />nR_2" (two family residential), as defined by the General Zoning <br />Ordinance (Appendix A of the Code of Ordinances of the City of <br />San Marcos), and abutting on the streets or avenues or p~rt~ons <br />thereof within the 1 imits herei~above def~ned, and the real and true <br />owners thereof, shal I have assessed against them $4.50 per front <br />foot in accordance with the front foot plan or rule for the cost of <br />constructing such street improvements hereinabove descr~bed. <br />
