Definitions. <br />Terms in this division have the following meaning unless otherwise specified: <br />Act means Federal Water Pollution Control Act, also known as the Clean Water <br />Act, as amended, 33 U.S.C. 1251, et. seg. <br />BOD means the value of the five-day test for Biochemical Oxygen Demand, as <br />described in the latest edition of "Standard Methods for the Examination of Water & <br />Wastewater." <br />COD means the value of the test for Chemical Oxygen Demand, as described in the <br />latest edition of "Standard Methods for the Examination of Water & Wastewater." <br />Director means Director of Water/Wastewater Utilities or the Director's authorized <br />representative.
