<br />RESOLUTION <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on the 20th day of May, 1972, the President declared <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />a "major disaster" in the State of Texas under the provisions <br /> <br />of Publ ic Law 606, 91st Congress, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, City of San Marcos IS a publ ic entity within said State; <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by City Counci I of the City of <br /> <br />San Marcos that the Office of Emergency Preparedness be and <br /> <br />hereby is requested to arrange to have the appropriate Federal <br /> <br />Agency perform the fol lowing work: <br /> <br />To provide emergency housing for a period not to <br /> <br />exceed twelve months for qual ified disaster victims. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />This body certifies that, to the best of its knowledge and <br /> <br />bel ief, the requested wo~k is el igible under Publ ic Law 606, <br /> <br />91st Congress, and agrees to hold and save the United States <br /> <br />free from damages due to the approved work. <br /> <br />PASSED AND APPROVED this 26th day of May, 1972. <br /> <br />~~ih~~ <br /> <br />J?)~i ano H.
