<br />1972 - 38 <br /> <br />,..;zl; <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE PURCHASE OF CERTAIN <br />DISPOSITION PARCELS FROM THE URBAN RENEWAL AGENCY <br />OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AND AUTHORIZING <br />PAYMENT FOR SAME AND ACCEPTING DEDICATION OF CERTAIN <br />OTHER DISPOSITION PARCELS FROM SAID AGENCY, ALL <br />SAID PARCELS LOCATED WJTHJN NDP PROJECT TEX.A-6, <br />AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: <br /> <br />SECTION 1, The Deed from the Urban Renewal Agency of the <br />City of San Marcos, Texas, to the City of San Marcos, Texas, for <br />publ ic and semi-publ ic use conveying Disposition Parcels lA-2, <br />4-1A and II-1B located within the NDP Project, Tex. A-6 and more <br />particularly described within said Deed for a consideration of the <br />payment of the Agency's minimum disposition price as approved by <br />its Board and HUD, is hereby accepted. <br /> <br />SECTION 2. Payment of said sum to the Urban Renewal Agency <br />of the City of San Marcos, Texas, as consideration for the purchase <br />of said property is hereby authorized. <br /> <br />SECTION 3. The Deed of Dedication from the Urban Renewal <br />Agency of the City of San Marcos, Texas, dedicating Disposition <br />Parcels lA-2B, 4-1, 8-3, 8-3A, 11-1 and 7-2 located within the <br />NDP Project, Tex. A-6 and being more particularly described in <br />said Deed, to the City of San Marcos for publ ic and semi-publ ic <br />use is hereby accepted andthe Mayor is authorized to sign said <br />Deed as accepted on behalf of the City. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />SECTION 4. A copy of the Warranty Deed and Deed of <br />Dedication is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference. <br /> <br />SECTION 5. The importance of this Ordinance creates an <br />emergency and an imperative purpose necessary that the provisions <br />of the Charter requiring that al I Ordinances be read at three <br />separate meet i ngs and that no Ord i nance sha II become effect i ve <br />until the expiration of 10 days following the date of its fianl <br />passage, be suspended, and this provision is hereby suspended, <br />and this Ordinance shal I take effect and be in force from and <br />after its adoption, and publ ication in a newspaper of general <br />publ ication within the City. <br /> <br />PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 27th day of November, 1972. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />L2 ~;f#~ <br /> <br />~ano H.
