A <br /> <br />Form #929 <br /> <br />Page 1 of 2 <br /> <br />LOWER COLORADO RIVER AUTHORITY <br />BASIC LARGE LIGlITING AND POWER RATE <br />SCHEIDLE B-3A <br /> <br />(Revised 9-10-41) <br /> <br />APPLICABILITY <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Applicable to all commercial and industrial and all large non-residential <br />light, heat and power customers whose demands in any month exceed 10 kilowatts. <br />Customers with demands of 10 kilowatts or less shall be billed in accordance with <br />the appropriate Basic Small Lighting and Power Schedule. <br /> <br />CHARACTER OF SERVICE <br /> <br />Alternating current, single or three phase, sixty cycles. Voltage supplied <br />will be at the discretion of distributor and will be determined by the voltage <br />available from distribution lines in. the vicinity and/or other conditions. <br /> <br />RATE <br /> <br />Demand Charge <br /> <br />First <br />Excess over <br /> <br />300 kw. of demand per mo. @ $1.40 per kw. <br />300 kw. of demand permo. @ $1.20 per kw. <br /> <br />Energy Charge <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />First <br />Next <br />Next <br />Excess Over <br /> <br />10,000 kwh. consumed per mo. @ 10 mills per kwh. <br />40,000 kwh. consumed per mo. @ 8 mills per kwh. <br />50,000 kwh. consumed per mo. @ 6 mills per kwh. <br />100,000 kwh. consumed per mo. @ 5 mills per kwh. <br /> <br />DETERMINATION OF DEI-wID <br /> <br />Demand measurement shall be made by suitable instruments at the point of <br />delivery. Demand for any month shall be defined as the highest average load <br />during any thirty (30) minute period during the month for which determination <br />is made but in no case less than 10 kw. <br /> <br />ADJUSTMENT OF DEMAND CHARGE FOR POWER FACTOR <br /> <br />Demand charge may be adjusted, if and when distributor deems necessary, <br />to correct for power factors lower than eighty-five (85) per cent. Such <br />adjustments will be made in such manner as to bring the demand charge to the <br />equivalent of eighty-five (85) per cent power factor. <br /> <br />. <br />
