Womack <br />Barbara Edwards <br />George Boeker <br />Earl Williams <br /> <br />Also Present: Donna Phillips, Jackie Matthys, Dr. Tom Castoldi, <br />Greg Echols, Gene Hildebrandt, Chris Bishop, Melissa Millecam, Tom <br />Partin and others. <br /> <br />The Mayor Pro-Tem called the meeting to order at 5:35 p.m. <br /> <br />Mr. James introduced for consideration approval of award of bid on <br />articulating front end loader. Upon the recommendation of Mr. Boeker, <br />Mr. Cavazos moved to approve the bid of Cooper Equipment Company of <br />San Antonio, Texas for a Swinger 110 in the amount of $15,343.00 and <br />Mrs. Norris seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. <br /> <br />Mr. James introduced for consideration approval of a contract of sale <br />between the City of San Marcos and Southwest Texas State University <br />for the purchase of a building (total consideration to the City would <br />be the cost of removing the building from University property and any <br />additional expenses associated therewith). Mr. Cavazos moved to approve <br />the contract of sale and Mr. Kreczmer seconded the motion to get the <br />matter on the table for discussion. After much discussion, it was <br />agreed by Council that a contract needed to exist between the Texas <br />Museum of History and the City prior to the City executing the contract <br />of sale with the University. Mr. Cavazos moved to table the matter <br />until the July 27 meeting at which time both contracts would be made <br />available to the Council for their consideration and approval and Mrs. <br />Norris seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. <br /> <br /> The Special Meeting adjourned at 5:50 p.m. on motion of Mrs. Norris <br /> and seconded by Mr. K reczmer.~~~a~~ ...... <br /> <br /> RObert L.
