ORDINANCE 2010 - 31 <br />• AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS AMENDING THE TRAFFIC REGISTER <br />MAINTAINED UNDER SECTION 82.067 OF THE SAN MARCOS <br />CITY CODE BY AMENDING THE SPEED LIMIT OF A SECTION <br />OF WONDER WORLD DRIVE (F.M. 3407) IN BOTH DIRECTIONS <br />FROM F.M. 2439 (STA 185 +85.0) TO A POINT WEST OF THE R.M. <br />12 INTERSECTION (STA 19 +28.28); AND INCLUDING <br />PROCEDURAL PROVISIONS. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: <br />SECTION 1. Pursuant to Sections 82.003 and 82.066 of the City Code, on the basis of an <br />engineering and traffic investigation performed by the Texas Department of Transportation finding that the <br />current speed limit is unsafe, the traffic register maintained under Section 82.067 of the City Code is <br />amended by adding the following speed limit: <br />Wonder World Drive (F.M. 3407), from F.M. 2439 (Sta 185 +85.0) to a point west of the R.M. 12 <br />intersection (Sta 19 +28.28), both directions, 55 m.p.h. <br />SECTION 2. If any word, phrase, clause, sentence, or paragraph of this ordinance is held to be <br />unconstitutional or invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, the other provisions of this ordinance will <br />continue in force if they can be given effect without the invalid portion. <br />SECTION 3. All ordinances and resolutions or parts of ordinances or resolutions in conflict with <br />this ordinance are repealed. <br />SECTION 5.
