Yolanda Shelley Mayor Habingreither called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. Mayor Habingreither lead the Pledge of Allegiance. Mayor Habingreither introduced the Citizen Comment period. 1) Sherwood Bishop thanked Ron Patterson, Director of Planning, for doing a great job for the citizens of San Marcos. He stated he was also glad Mr. Patterson was remaining in our community. Mr. Bishop stated the City of San Marcos is in danger of losing history with the loss of staff. Mr. Mark Taylor has been with the City since 1989 and has provided wise legal guidance. 2) Greg Griffin stated he wished to speak regarding Item 5A, appointments of Parks and Recreation Advisory Board. He stated he was a candidate for Mr. Montoya was present at 8:20 p.m.
