AUTHORIZATION OF CHANGE IN SERVICES CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS PROJECT: Waste Water Treatment Plant Wet Weather Improvements Project CONSULTANT: CH2M Hill, Inc. AUTHORIZATION NO: 1 ORIGINAL CONTRACT DATE: November 5, 2007 DATE OF CHANGE: 01 - 0 2- 2-o O v WORK TO BE ADDED TO OR DELETED FROM SCOPE OF SERVICES This authorization is requested in order to include additional project management, design and construction services associated with the following design elements: 1. Replacement of existing low pressure low intensity ultraviolet (uv) disinfection system with a new low pressure high intensity uv system that is capable of treating peak 2-hour flow rates (31 mgd). 2. Modification of the existing reaeration basin to provide for minimum effluent dissolved oxygen concentrations of 6 mg/L during peak 2-hour flow rates. 3. Replacement of existing effluent flow meter. 4. Addition of polymer system as part of Chemical Enhanced Primary Treatment. 5. Modification of existing ferric chloride system as required as part of Chemical Enhanced Primary Treatment. Additional services to be provided under this authorization will not exceed $129,400 without prior approval. Compensation will be provided on a fixed fee basis. CH2M HILL requests that the contract for the above-referenced Project be revised to reflect the following changes to Tasks listed in Article 15 Basis of Compensation.
