151 Regular Meeting August 10, 1981 Page 5 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING SECTIONS 29-123 AND 29-152(c) OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF SAID CITY TO ADD EIGHT LOCATIONS WITHIN SAID CITY AT WHICH PARKING SHALL BE PROHIBITED; TO ADD FOUR LOCATIONS WITHIN SAID CITY WHICH SHALL BE DESIGNATED AS TOW-AWAY ZONES AND ES- TABLISHING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. Mrs. Norris moved to adopt the Ordinance on third and final reading and Mr. Brown seconded the motion. There was some discussion to monitor Cheatham Street at the River~ Bridge to see if this location might need to be added to the above Ordinance in the future. The Ordinance passed by unanimous vote. Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration adoption of an Ordinance on third and final reading amending Appendix A of the Code of Ordin- ances entitled General Zoning Ordinance, the caption which was read as follows: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING APPENDIX A OF THE CODE OF OR- DINANCES OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, ENTITLED "GENERAL ZONING ORDINANCE" TO INCLUDE " HOME OCCUPATION" AS A SPECIFIC USE ALLOWABLE IN "'R-i' SINGLE-FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICTS," "'TH' TOg~HOUSE RESIDENTIAL DIS- TRICTS,'' "'R-2' DUPLEX OR TWO FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICTS" AND "'D' MULTI-FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICTS" AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. Mr. Brown moved to adopt the Ordinance on third and final reading and Mrs. Norris seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration a Resolution approving an Agreement with the Texas Museum of History, Inc. pertaining to the removal of a structure from Southwest Texas State University property. Mayor Craddock moved to table this Resolution and the next Resolution on the agenda, approving a Contract of Sale with Southwest Texas State University for a structure on the University property, because the Chairman of the Texas Museum of History, Inc., Colonel R. L. Beechinor, had resigned as Chairman and the Texas Museum of History would have time to designate a new Chairman and remove the building even though Council was not acting on the Resolutions at this time. The Resolu- tions will need to be placed on an agenda in the future when the Texas Museum of History is prepared for the removal of the building. The meeting adjourned at by Mrs. Norris.
