<br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN
<br />MARCOS, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING FINAL PAYMENT IN THE
<br />AMOUNT OF $3,731.40 TO FREESE AND NICHOLS, INC.,
<br />OF AUSTIN, TEXAS, FOR ENGINEERING SERVICES IN
<br />CONNECTION WITH THE REVISION OF EXISTING GRID MAPS
<br />OF SAID CITY AND THE PREPARATION OF WASTEWATER COLLEC-
<br />TION SYSTEM MAPS FOR SAID CITY IN ACCORDANCE WITH A
<br />CONTRACT BETWEEN SAID CITY AND FREESE AND NICHOLS,
<br />INC. EXECUTED SEPTEMBER 3, 1980, AND DECLARING AN
<br />EFFECTIVE DATE.
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of San Marcos, Texas, by resolu-
<br />tion adopted August 25, 1980, engaged the engineering services of Freese
<br />and Nichols, Inc., of Austin, Texas, to revise existing grid maps of said
<br />City and to prepare wastewater collection system maps for said City; and,
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, the contract covering said engineering services, approved
<br />by resolution duly enacted on August 25,1980, was executed on September
<br />3, 1980; and,
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, on August 7, 1981, Freese and Nichols, Inc., requested final
<br />payment for said engineering services; and,
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, the Department of Public Works of said City recommends final
<br />payment in the amount of $3,731.40 for said engineering services; and,
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of San Marcos, Texas, hereby
<br />finds and determines that said engineering services have been performed
<br />in substantial compliance with the terms of said contract; now, therefore,
<br />
<br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS:
<br />
<br /> PART 1. That final payment in the amount of $3,731.40 is hereby
<br />authorized to be paid to Freese and Nichols, Inc., of Austin, Texas, for
<br />engineering services provided to the City of San Marcos, Texas, in connec-
<br />tion with the revision of existing grid maps of said city and preparation
<br />of wastewater collection system maps for said city pursuant to the terms
<br />of a contract entered into on September 3, 1980, by said city and Freese
<br />and Nichols, Inc.
<br />
<br /> PART 2. That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect
<br />immediately upon its passage.
<br />
