OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING SECTION 3 OF THAT ORDINANCE <br />WHICH REGULATES AND RESTRICTS THE LOCATION AND USE <br />OF BUILDINGS, STRUCTURES AND LAND, DATED SEPTEMBER <br />29, 1980 (VOL. 54) BY ZONING TWO TRACTS OF LAND OUT <br />OF FARM LOT NO. 22 OF THE ORIGINAL TOWN OF SAN MARCOS, <br />LOCATED IN THE 400 BLOCK OF NORTH GUADALUPE STREET, <br />FROM "D" (MULTI-FAnCILY DWELLING DISTRICT) TO "C" .(COM- <br />MERCIAL DISTRICT). <br /> <br />Mr. James moved to approve the Ordinance on first reading and Mrs. <br />Mendez seconded the motion. On roll call the following vote was re- <br />corded: <br /> <br />AYE: Brown, Cavazos, James, Craddock, Kreczmer and Mendez. <br /> <br />NAY: Norris. <br /> <br />ABSTAIN: None. <br /> <br />Mr. Robert C. Haney then requested the Council consider having the <br />first reading on the Ordinance pertaining to the alley he wanted to <br />purchase from the City in Block 3 of the Westover Addition, and it <br />was his opinion that before third reading we could obtain the appraisal <br />information requested by the Council. Mr. Brown moved to untable the <br />Ordinance and Mr. Kreczmer seconded the motion. On roll call the <br />following vote was recorded: <br /> <br />AYE: Brown, Cavazos, Craddock, Kreczmer, Mendez and Norris. <br /> <br />NAY: James. <br /> <br />ABSTAIN: None. <br /> <br />The caption was then read as follows: <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS, ABANDONING, VACATING AND CLOSING A <br />PORTION OF AN ALLEY IN BLOCK 3 OF THE WESTOVER ADDI- <br />TION TO THE CITY OF SAN MJfRCOS, TEXAS; PROVIDING FOR <br />THE REVERSION OF FEE IN SAID LAND AND DECLARING AN <br />EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />Mr. Brown moved to approve the Ordinance on first reading and Mr. <br />Kreczmer seconded the motion.
