173 <br /> <br />ORDINkNCE NO. 1981-~63 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING SECTION 3 OF THAT <br />ORDINANCE ~ICH REGULATES AND RESTRICTS THE LO- <br />CATION AND USE OF BUILDINGS, STRUCTURES AND LAND, <br />DATED SEPTEMBER 29, 1980 (VOL. 54) BY CHANGING <br />THE ZONING OF 6.178 ACRES IN THE J. M. VERAMEN- <br />DI LEAGUE NO. TWO, ABSTRACT 17, LOCATED ON RIVER <br />ROAD, FROM "AO" (AGRICULTURAL OPEN-SPACE DISTRICT) <br />TO "MH" (MOBILE HOME DISTRICT). <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. That the following described piece of real property lo- <br /> <br />cated in San Marcos, Hays County, Texas, which was classified "AO" <br /> <br />(Agricultural Open-Space District) upon its annexation to the City <br /> <br />of San Marcos on June 8, 1981, henceforth shall be rezoned as follows: <br /> <br />6.178 acres in the J. M. Veramendi League No. Two, <br />Abstract 17, being a portion of that tract of 100.13 <br />acres of land conveyed to Frank Sharp by B. F. Harper, <br />et al, by deed dated August 9, 1947, and recorded in <br />Volume 138, Page 638, Hays County Deed Records, and <br />more particularly d~scribed as follows: <br /> <br />COMMENCING at an iron pin in the Southeast street <br />line of River Road (Old S.H. 80) said iron pin <br />marks the intersection of the Southeast street <br />line of River Road and the Northeast line of a <br />30' R.O.W. to the City of San Marcos Sewer Plant, <br />and also being the most Western corner of the par- <br />cel herein described. <br /> <br />THENCE, along the Southeast street line of River <br />Road, along an existing fence, N 45° 03' E, a dis- <br />tance of 208.71' to an iron pin, said iron pin <br />marks the most Northern corner of the parcel herein <br />described. <br /> <br />THENCE, S 45° 00' E, a distance of 1288.24' to an <br />iron pin set on the Northwest line of a 30' R.O.W., <br />said iron pin marks the most Easterly corner of the <br />parcel herein described. <br /> <br />THENCE, S 4.5° 00' W, along the Northwest line of the <br />30' R.O.W. a distance of 208.71' to a small spike <br />set in the center of a fence post, said spike is the <br />most Southern corner of the parcel herein described, <br />and al. so marks the intersection of the Northwest line <br />of a -30' R.O.W. and the Northeast line of another 30' <br />R.O.W. <br /> <br />THENCE, N 45° 00' W, along a fence line, along the <br />Northeast line of the previously mentioned 30' R.O.W. <br />a distance of 1288.42' to an iron pin, said iron pin <br />marks the point of beginning, located on River Road, <br />to be zoned "MH" (Mobile Home District). <br /> <br />SECTION 2. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect ten <br /> <br />(10) days from and after passage and publication in a newspaper of <br /> <br />general circulation in the area. <br /> <br /> <br />
