RESOLUTION NO. /981-50R 177 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVI~NG AN AGREEMENT ASSIGNING RESPONSIBILITIES BETWEEN SAID CITY AND THE TEXAS MUSEUM OF HISTORY, INC., PERTAIN- ING TO THE REMOVAL OF A STRUCTURE FROM SOUTH- -- WEST TEXAS STATE UNIVERSITY PROPERTY, AUTHORIZ- ING THE CITY MANAGER OF SAID CITY TO EXECUTE SAID AGREEMENT AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of San Marcos, Texas, intends to enter into a Contract of Sale with Southwest Texas State University for a structure currently located on Southwest Texas State University real property; and, ~ereas, under the terms of that Contract of Sale, the City of San Marcos, Texas, assumes certain responsibilities connected with the removal of said structure from University property; ~d~ WHEREAS, the Texas Museum of History, Inc., of San Marcos, Texas, is willing to assume those responsibilities assigned to City by said contract of Sale; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: PART 1. That the Agreement Assigning Responsibilities between the City of San Marcos, Texas, and Texas Museum of History, Inc. pertaining to the removal of a structure from Southwest Texas State University uroperty,~a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein for all intents and purposes, be, and is here- by, approved in all respects. PART 2. That the City ~anager of the City of San Marcos, A.C. Gonzalez, be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute said contract on behalf of said city. PART 3.
