TREATMENT, <br />WHOLESALE WATER SALES AND RECLA TT 1 WATER <br />SALES; AND INCLUDING PROCEDURAL PRO ISIOI? <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE 'TTY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br />SECTION 1. The water rates establ? ? under ' e' pion 86.: ? 1 of the San Marcos City <br />Code are amended to read as shown on the alp '?ed Ex, ? The Wholesale. cr Treatment Rate for treatment of raw water at the <br />city's Surfa? 1?Uater _ ?tment Plant is increased from $1.46 to $1.53 per thousand gallons. <br />SECTION 5. The ?? ' ?r ale Rate for water sold by the City of San Marcos is set at <br />minimum charge of $2.94 per .?lousand gallons. Additional charges will apply to recover the <br />city's costs to produce and deliver wholesale water including, but not limited to, point of <br />delivery charges, capital recovery charges, and metering charges. Such additional charges will be <br />set forth in contractual agreements approved by the City Council. <br />SECTION 6. The Reclaimed Water Rate is set at $1.27 per thousand gallons.l <br />SECTION 7. If any word, phrase, clause, sentence, or paragraph of this ordinance is <br />held to be unconstitutional or invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, the other provisions of <br />this ordinance will continue in force if they can be given effect without the invalid portion. <br />? This rate represents a 5% increase above the initial contract rate with TXI, Inc. for reclaimed water.
