(d) The following Registration Certificate of Comptroller ofPublic Accounts shall appear <br />on the Initial Certificate in lieu of the Certificate of Paying Agent/Registrar: <br />REGISTRATION CERTIFICATE OF <br />COMPTROLLER OF PUBLIC ACCOUNTS <br />OFFICE OF THE COMPTROLLER § <br />OF PUBLIC ACCOUNTS § REGISTER NO. <br />THE STATE OF TEXAS § <br />I HEREBY CERTIFY THAT there is on file and of record in my office a certificate to the <br />effect that the Attorney General of the State of Texas has approved this Certificate, and that this <br />Certificate has been registered this day by me. <br />WITNESS MY SIGNATUREAND SEAL OF OFFICEthis <br />[SEAL] Comptroller of Public Accounts <br />of the State of Texas <br />Section 6.03. CUSIP Registration. <br />The City may secure identification numbers through the CUSIP Service Bureau Division of <br />Standard & Poor's Corporation, and may authorize the printing of such numbers on the face of the <br />Certificate. It is expressly provided, however, that the presence or absence of CUSIP numbers on <br />the Certificate shall be of no significance or effect as regards the legality thereof and neither the City <br />nor the attorneys approving said Certificate as to legality are to be held responsible for CUSIP <br />numbers incorrectly printed on the Certificate. <br />Section 6.04. Legal Opinion. <br />The approving legal opinion of McCall, Parkhurst & Horton L.L.P., Bond Counsel, may be <br />printed on the back of each Certificate or, in the case of a definitive Certificate, attached to each <br />definitive Certificate, over the certification of the City Clerk, which may be executed in facsimile. <br />San Marcos CTRCO 200BA: Ordinance 22
