The City Council of the City of San Marcos, Texas, provided an opportunity for all <br />interested persons to be heard at two public hearings, held on April 12, 2004, and on <br />April 19, 2004, to consider the proposed annexation by the City of 594.128 acres, more or less, <br />located Northwest of the 3100-3400 blocks of Post Road, in Hays County, Texas (the <br />"Annexation Area"), consisting of all of the following tracts of property: <br /> <br />A. The 18.991 acre, more or less, tract of land described by metes and bounds in the <br />attached Exhibit A; <br />B. The 199.323 acre, more or less, tract of land described by metes and bounds in the <br />attached Exhibit B; <br />C. The 161.325 acre, more or less, tract of land described by metes and bounds in the <br />attached Exhibit C; <br />D. The 6.067 acre, more or less, tract of land described by metes and bounds in the attached <br />Exhibit D; <br />E. The 1.103 acre, more or less, tract of land described by metes and bounds in the attached <br />Exhibit E; <br />F. The 47.575 acre, more or less, tract of land described by metes and bounds in the <br />attached Exhibit F; <br />G. The 49.587 acre, more or less, tract of land described by metes and bounds in the <br />attached Exhibit G; <br />H. The 51.463 acre, more or less, tract of land described by metes and bounds in the <br />attached Exhibit H; <br />1. The 58.694 acre, more or less, tract of land described by metes and bounds in the <br />attached Exhibit 1. <br /> <br />2. The City has received petitions for annexation from the owner(s) of property included <br />in the Annexation Area, in connection with wastewater and water utility improvement <br />agreements approved by the City Council on September 22,2003, and August 25,2003, and the <br />City Council, by approving those agreements, approved the petitions. <br /> <br />3. An on-site public hearing has not been requested in writing by more than 10% of the <br />adults who are permanent residents of the Annexation Area. <br /> <br />4. A notice of each of the public hearings was published in the San Marcos Daily <br />
