Hardware maintenance: Hardware maintenance wìll include replacement of equipment <br />that is broken, replacement of telephones that have broken, or replacement of peripheral <br />equipment that has broken. Addition of new equipment will be perfonned at no extra cost if <br />the equipment was purchased from NextiraOne, and installation charges were included in the <br />sales price. All other additional equipment will be installed at the MAC rates set forth in this <br />proposal <br /> <br />2. Software Maintenance: Software maintenance will include changes in the system (i.e. <br />meridian mail not working properly) and fixing the system in case of problems. <br />Programming of new software and upgrading the system software will be performed at no <br />additional cost if the software/upgrade was purchased from NextiraOne, and installation <br />charges were included in the sales price. <br /> <br />3. Proponent's staff: NextiraOne currently has one certified technician assigned as permanent <br />prime to the City of San Marcos account. Four more equally certified and qualified local <br />technicians will provide backup service if needed. <br /> <br />4. Upcoming information: The City will rely on NextiraOne for infonnation regarding changes <br />in Nortel Networks or general infonnation about new products. The Account Manager <br />assigned to the City of San Marcos will provide timely updates. <br /> <br />5. Meetings: The City and NextiraOne will have bi-annual meetings to discuss the successful <br />proponent's response to calls as well as Nortel Networking general information on new <br />products.
